May or may not help: I've used G.Zuiko 28mm f/3.5 with Hoya PL filter and
Olympus matched hood with no problems whatsoever. Did the PL-but-no-hood
route as well. For the record, it was stopped down to f/8.
And more importantly, as Doris mentioned, what's backup? Sounds like a
trip not often repeated, so a beater body would serve well (and can double
your film-burn-per-hour rate as well!)
