As a relative newcomer to this mail list, but who has been on a number
of mail lists over the years I am certainly not one to intentionally
piss anyone off with off topic threads. My apologies to anyone who took
offense since I do take some responsibility for the "2gabe thread." I'll
also remind you that my initial post was asking the validity of the
description of damage to an OM4 body as told to me...a pretty legit
question I thought at the time.

However, I didn't perpetuate it...it took off on its own just like
politics and SUVs which, BTW, are _far more_ "off topic" than
discussions relating to obtaining used OM equipment. There seem to be
many posts Re: items for sale and places to find them, ebay is only one
of many. These types of discussions seem pretty _on-topic_ to me. I know
of at least one list member who was saved grief from warnings put up
here. That said, one complaint is enough for me and I won't post
anything to do with ebay here again as I am not here to piss anyone off,
just share information. Off to lurk a while now...
