[OM] T20 flash off camera

Hello, 

I want to use my T20 flash off camera for close-up photography.
I am planning to use this flash with either one of my two cameras an OM2N
and a OM2S. I have a TTL auto connector T20, but I don't know
what type of cord will work with it and if I need any other accessories.
What are the TTL auto connectors Type 3 and 4? Are they necessary for
using the T20 off camera?
