I'd probably go with a nice clean OM2n as my first choice, gets you the
electronic shutter, automatic mode, and TTL Flash.  I know, you're a
daylight kinda guy, but that is all the more reason to have TTL flash!
(you don't have to understand it to use it!)    If your OM1n turns out to
be repairable, you then have a backup with a manual shutter.  If it is
not repairable, I would look for another OM1n first, and lastly at the
OM2000.  The problem I see with the OM2000 is that it's compatibility is
primarily with the lenses, no motor/winder, no TTL flash, etc.  It is not
truly a "system" body.  That's not to say it is bad, just some
limitations to consider.  In fact, I have thought about getting an OM2000
to keep in the car at all times.................
