This, however, would be the same with the OM-1 which will also have to start
the second curtain at some time. I suppose the vibrations caused by the
curtains are negligible, though.  As I understand it, the reason for the hat
trick are the vibrations caused by the mirror opening, as the OM-2 lacks
mirror lock. I am assuming (don't know for sure though) that without mirror
lock, when shooting the mirror goes up, and _then_ the first curtain opens
before the vibrations caused by the mirror have stopped. The mirror going
back down also causes vibrations, of course, but those should not matter as
the second curtain would have closed by then.
