Hey Guys......

After reading about this clever storage compartment, I went to dig out the
old cases and lo and behold, I found a hood in the 85/2 case lid...... !

I bought this 2nd hand..... the lens was mint but he case was bad... the
owner left it uncared for under the window where it suffered the harsh sun
and damaging ultravolet rays.......

well, the rubber hood is a bit out of shape..... the rim feels a wee bit
sticky....must have under the intense heat.....

I've never bought a new OM with case before..... and its a pleasant
surprise.....very pleasant .........indeed....

anyway, I checked and found nothing else (disapointment) in the cases for my
16fisheye (also from the same guy) and my 35shift with a good condition
case....

which makes me wonder now.... are there supposed to be hoods for these 2
lenses ?

and....

Can that slightly melted rubber hood be reconditioned to its original shape
? Are there any rubber - resurrecting lotions around ?

What can I do ?

Thanks in advance
TMLee, S'pore
