You can order a new collar or screw from Olympus or from the Olympus
Guy. I got at Telescoping Auto Tube used and the tripod mount was gone, so
he got me one for I believe about $35. The collar and the screw are
separate parts.

The screw used to tighten the collar to the extension tube got worn out
after some time so my extension tube now has to share a tripod collar with
the 300/4.5. :-(
