The Minolta AF ones do. My Tokina and Tamrons don't. AFAIK Nikons
don't (the number shown in the viewfinder disagrees with that
set on the aperture ring).

Actually, my 35-70 f/3.5-4.5 Zuiko doesn't do it either.
At 35mm, "open aperture" metering is at f/4.5, and "stopping
down" actually opens the lens out to f/3.5. You can check
this with the lens off the camera by working the lever
manually (DIY foley is optional). This lens is actually
dimmer to look through than the constant f/4.
