Yes, I knew that.  Thank you Terry (or Tracey).

But that was not the answer to the question I was asking.  The
question was: Is the hot shoe of the OM-1n (and OM-2n) always
set to X-sync regardless of the setting of the X/FP switch; or
does the OM-1n set X-sync for the hot shoe only when the flash
ready signal is asserted.
