That's a tough question. For some forms of photography I can get 1/4
"successful" photos.
But for my personal archives... I find that each time through I weed out
a few that I had thought had merit. Maybe It's because I have become
more particular, or have seen someone do something similar that I liked
better.
Sometimes it's because I've discovered a way to take a picture that
before was thought to be impossible. Some of my favorite pictures have
been accidents. <g> Some that I now like I didn't 10 years ago.
