I would send my OM-1n to John Hermanson--iff (if and only if) I had a
second body for backup (nothin' yet). Personally, the cost isn't an issue.
The turnover, however, is. So, a local store has been doing excellent
service in processing and in all other ways. My supervisor got her OM1n
done there. I'm just waiting for the time when I don't have a roll or
anticipate shooting to get mine overhauled. The store is Phototorium in
Riverside <http://www.phototorium.com/>. Turnover for basic CLA ($39) is
one week. For foam, etc, it's around 80, and same one week period. They'll
look at your camera for 10bucks and give you an approximation if it
requires major service. They even have new Hg cells ;-).

Bottom line: if you can afford the time, send it to Camtech. If you need
service faster than what John can provide given the traffic he gets, find
out local stores. It would help to know people who've shopped there or
have some idea of the service. When in doubt, send it to NJ--or is it NY?
