The exposure is locked in by the one or more spot readings taken by
pressing the spot button. The dancing diamond shows the actual
real-time EV of the spot metering area. If you press spot again, this
new reading will contribute toward the calculated exposure. If you take
the picture w/o pressing spot again, this value is ignored.
