I'm glad to hear I can count on my OM-4T (I've only had it 6 months
or so) to last as long as my OM-1n (1980) and OM-10 (1979). Should we
all compare abuse stories (mine involve a long drop off a cliff and a
night frozen to a water tower),or is it just too much to bear?

They put way too many parts in there anyhow - an extra spring or
screw left over is nothing to worry about!
