Hi:

I am new to the list and I would appreciate some help.

Does anybody know which is a good flash for macrophotography for Olympus
35 mm cameras? I have an OM-1; OM-2 and an OM2S and a Zuiko 50 /3.5 macro
lens. My subjects are rocks and minerals, some of which are metallic and
others are not but in many cases they reflect a lot of light back to the
lens. I normally take my pictures outdoors and use a polarizer in front of
the lens, but this alone does not work with some of my rocks. I need to
polarize the light source. Can I do this with any flash? Also what are the
differences between the T8 reverse-reflection ring flash, T10 ring flash,
T32, and T28 dual-head macro flash?

Any suggestions?

Is there any literature on rocks and minerals macrophotography?

Alex
