I have tried both, 2-series screens are finer and brighter. I had sold my
Beattie screen when I found its brightness is similar to a Minolta Acute
Matte screen (the Minolta one is much cheaper, at that time the 2-series
screens are not available). I didn't know the Beattie screen was an old
version or not, but it has serious vignetting with my Zuiko fisheye.
