Hi all,
My OM2 has a very loose shutter speed ring.
What I mean is that there is very little clicking between stops.
It has gotten so bad that the shutter speed can accidently be
shifted without my knowing it, very easily.
I believe that there is a ball and a spring that causes the clicks
at each position.
I would think that the spring is worn. (this has been mentioned before)
My questions are,
should I fix it myself?
What is under the collar when I remove it?
Will I be in deep doo doo if I open it and lose something?
Are parts available?
Can the tension be adjusted or do I need a new spring ?
