You are absolutely correct!
Yes it is an SC 50mm f1.4.
When we moved to Ireland I was deprived of my f1.4 loupe for a while and tried
using
my 50mm f1.2 - no good - same thing as you describe for the MC f1.4.
You have discovered something Richard.
Does this make an SC 50mm f1.4 the best 50mm Zuiko lens to use as a loupe?
