I think the scaffolding is a great idea. It's easy to rent & erect. Be 
sure to use a railing & extend it beyond the corners of the maze to 
allow extra angles. 

Erect it on the East or South-East side about 20' above the maze & 
drape it with some white sheets to reflect the Sun's light into the 
maze to reduce the contrast. Leave some space between sheets for the 
wind to get thru, or poke some semicircles in the sheets.

The shots would be less exciting tho. You'd have to get in there for 
some of the exercises.

I don't suppose you could paint all the interiors walls with some 
colour that would contrast with the black outfits? & reflect some 
light! Railway ties sound kind of dingy...

You could also use a cherry-picker or fireman's ladder, if they have 
some fire dept. cooperation, but your angles would be limited.

Use 36 exposure rolls, & have an assistant to hand you a reloaded body 
& reload the next.
