This brings to mind a question: if the OM2x & OM4 vary the exposure 
*during the exposure* in OTF (non-flash) mode, then does the width of 
the shutter slot vary across the film as the light changes? So one part 
of the film would receive more than another if the light changed?

I would suspect that measurements are made until the first curtain 
opens, and then the slot (& exposure) is constant across the frame. 

Can anyone confirm or deny?
