John,
One of the best ways is accomplished by Leitz.  They have a polarizing filter 
that also covers meter.  Both are geared together.
Ain't cheap either.

Unlike an SLR where wysiwyg rules with polarizing filters, how does one
visually calibrate the varying effects of a polarizing filter with a
non-SLR camera?
