Some of the user like me sometimes facing battery problems and I wonder could it
due to expired battery?
As I noticed that the battery package did not indicate any expiry date only some
factory code.

Mechanical B & 60 will prevent the meter from accidentally coming on but 
it will not eliminate the battery drain associated with that model.
