Okay, since James stunned the crowd, I'd also like to say I'm
underwhelmed with my 100 2.8 SC. I love the focal length, I love the
size, but mine is really good only around F8 or smaller. By comparison,
my Vivitar 70-210 2.8-4 is sharp throughout (. . .and a pain to use),
and my C*n*n FD 100 2.8 is razor sharp, especially at wider apertures.
I keep an AE-1 around just to use it.
Are there both good and not-so-good examples of this lens?
