Jerry,
   I assume that what you are referring to is Bounce Grip (aka Bounce
Grip 1) and the Bounce Grip 2.
  Bounce Grip (1) came out with the flash 300 and the slightly later
QA310.  It provided off camera mounting with "L" type bracket and a
swivel head as well as being able to power the flash with 4 internal "C"
cells (no NiCad).  With the proper cables shoes and connectors it
allowed OTF flash (wi OM2), remote sensor (OM1 & OM2) or just standard
internal auto flash.  Interesting that the GN is 34.
  Bounce grip 2 is essentially the same as Bounce Grip 1 EXCEPT:
Designed for T-series flash (not T45), uses current TTL cables, can us
NiCads, has tilt as well as swivel.  There are probably several other
features that I neglected to mention on both, but in general that's
about the differences between them.
