You think that's bad! I remember a long time ago, when Volkswagon
Bugs were selling in the $2,000 to $3,000 range, Leica had a standing
offer to anyone willing to buy their most expensive megabuck lens (I
forget which lens, although it believe it approached the $20,000
stratospheric plateau): buy this lens and we'll throw in a Volkswagon
Bug for free!!! :-)
