You have pretty good guess.
The paragraph above the price list table indicate something like as
follows:
We have made every efforts to maintain the OM lens list price, however,
due to circumstances we are increasing the price as of November 1, 1998.
We appreciate your understandings with this regard and we will make
effort to sustain and to make advancements in OM lenses.
It does not say anything about:
1) why 85mm/f2 is reinstated
2) circumstances
3) explanation of 'advancements in OM lenses' - I was hoping to see
introduction of new OM lenses
