Whaoa! Big Brother is watching!
Yeah, I said something like that. I found it interesting that the guy was
praising Igor for taking back an item with which there was a problem. The
problem
was not stated. Obviously, it must not have been 'as described'. I wonder what
was wrong with it?

I had a recent experience when I bought a 100-200 Zuiko (now stop saying 'I told
ypu so', , Ken N.) over the net. I asked the seller specifically how it was
mechanically and he said it was excellent. Well, excellent to him I guess meant
that everything moved, which it did. It's just that the zoom ring moved on it's
own. Little or no friction. I immediately contacted him and he agreed to pay
for
1/2 cost of repairs, which he did and the zoom ring is now tight from 100 to 180
mm, a bit loose rest of the way. That's the best my local tech could do. While
I'm OK with the way it turned out ( still got the lens for a good price) , I
would
have rather known from the beginning that the ring was loose.
