Interesting, since Vince is the one that told me that they never changed
their designs once designed.  Also, you can't just substitute an ED
element that is exactly the same as a non-ED element.  If you use ED
glass, you have to redesign the entire optical layout of the lens.

I wonder which version of what Vince told us is correct?
