Very interesting post. Popular Photography reports the distortion to be
"noticable"
at 35mm and 80mm and "nominal" at 50mm. Also: "But distortion can make it
less advantageous for linear copying." They have also changed their
summarization wording to read "one of the best short zooms we've ever tested."
Glad I'm getting a 35-70mm f/3.6
