Hiu all--
I just purchased a very nice used 18mm f/3.5 Zuiko today*, and am worried
about that front element bulging out unprotected. I have seen that a "49-72
step up adapter" is needed if I want a Sky-1A running interference for this
sweetheart. Are these available as a one shot deal, or do they have to be
built up with progressively bigger adapters? Egad, I hope not--I can see it
now, 49-52, 52-55, 55-58, etc, etc! Yeow, the adpaters would be as long as
the lens! Any ideas out there?
I see that B+W makes a "wide angle filter" ( B&H--$45 ± for a 49mm dia. lens,
*gasp*), but would that cover an 18mm angle of view?

Tim Clark *Also got delivery today of the 200mm f/5 I've been
eyeing....Oh oh, Zuikosis is kicking in again....things are getting a little
fuzzy.......the room is tilting......the eyeballs rolling back in the
head.....................uuuhhhhhh............................................
thud....
