Despite having both the 85/2 and 100/2.8 (and using them primarily for
portraits) my current inamorata for faces is the 180/2.8. Why settle for a mere
100! ;-) I think what is actually doing it for me is that the tele has a
shallower depth of field for a given f-stop and, well, all these lenses are
pretty fine with great bokeh.
