John Austin wrote about "seeing" with the 24 & 35 vs. the 28, and the 85 and
135 vs. the 100 lenses. I agree completely and, in fact, carry only 3
lenses when I travel far: the 35/2.8 on my camera, and the 24/2 and 85/2
fastened together by glueing two lens caps together back-to-back. I've
found this to be the best combination of necessary focal lengths vs.
reasonable weight.
