John, I guess I fall into the Exclusively Oly department.
I have an OM1, a couple of Om2n's, OM10 (I just gave to my 14 yo son), a
Stylus, and a "Supper zoom 3000"
I used to get after market lenses, but the Zuiko's are Soooo much better that
I now only have them.
I started with OLY while in dental school in the mid 70's with an OM1 and a
ring flash with autobellows.
This was the macro setup that the school recommended for intraoral macro
photography. And, for years that is all I did with my camera - take lots of
pictures of broken teeth and mouths. (Using the medical standard Kodachrome64)
But I now take my Oly out into the field - away from mouths - on family trips.
(But still keep one OM2n set up in the office for medical/dental
documentation)
By the way, this web sight was instumental in my selecting and now owning a
35-70/f3.6 zoom. I have put a few rolls thru it and what a great lens!
As to buying new, I just ordered a 'NEW' 70 to 200 Oly Zoom from Wall St
Camera. I hope the new lenses are as good as the old!
