[OM] Do-it-yourself-service on the OM-4

Hi all,

The hot shoe of my beloved OM-4 seems to have got loose somehow. In order to
fix this problem I have in mind to deattach the upper part of the camera and
tighten the screws or whatever that holds the hot shoe. I have figured out
that to be able to deattach the upper part of the camera I have to deattach
the film winding handle as well as the film sensitivity setting knob and the
circular unit on which the film rewind handle resides from the shaft which
goes into the camera first.

The latter matter seemed not to be especially difficult since there is a
screw underneath the film rewind handle. However, when unscrewing this screw
I saw that the hole in which the screw was screwed in had coils the whole
way up to the top, in other words in the circular unit on which the film
rewind handle resides too. This made me think if it was that easy as just
unscrew the screw and take the circular unit with the film rewind handle away.

This unit sits firmly in place whether the tiny screw in the centre is
screwed in or taken away. What is the proper methode to deattach the
circular unit which holds the film rewind handle from the shaft that goes
into the camera?

Unfortunately I have not figured out how one could deattach the film winding
handle on the opposite side of the camera either :o( There seems not to be
any screws or any other things visible which could be of help to understand
how it would be possible to deattach the handle from the camera. How do one
do to deattach the film winding handle in a proper way?

All help is very much appreciated indeed!
