Additionally from that magazine;
Olympus quickmatic was designed as a camera using "koda-pack" film (I'm not
sure on the exact spelling) to be exported for U.S.. It was sold in Japan in
parallel. It was discontinued as the "koda-pack" film disappeared.
Quickmatic 600 was planned and designed as an affordable version to be used
with "flash cube".
