<< Is it really so that the image 'snaps' into focus with the 2-4 ? Like
with the microprisms of the 1-13, but more subtle ? I like to be very
sure about my focus, because I use it extensively to determine my DOF.

The 2-4 screens are great; I sort of grew disenchanted with 35mm for a while
because, essentially, I wasn't seeing in the viewfinder bright enough images
to excite my visual senses. This is true because many of my lenses are f 3.5
or f 4. I went full circle through P645 gear, learned the hard way about the
necessity of tripods, and came back to my Oly 200/5, 135/3.5, 50/3.5, and
21/3.5 amongst others. The bright image, not only allows you to focus, but
also to SEE (maybe my eyes are gettin dimmer with age). It will be a very
worthwhile purchase.
