[OM] OM4Ti and TTL flash limits

For anyone out there interested in the end result of this brief recent
thread.

background:

Workmate (Steve) purchased a new OM4Ti and found problems using TTL ring
flash on macro subjects - ie, low light indication and underexposed
results in situations that gave good results using OM2N. Several others
on the list reported similar experiences and it was mentioned that the
OM4Ti might have had some kind of an electronics trade-off of TTL flash
capability for its spot-metering facilities.

The Oly people in Aus believed that there should be no difference in TTL
capability between the OM4Ti and the OM2N and they replaced the body
immediately. However at the same time Steve had his well-used 50mm 3.5
lens pulled apart and cleaned, as he was told it may be a problem with
the lens/body linkages. The resulting test photos in the same conditions
are fine. There was some kind of a problem, but no-one was able to
really tell us why. It seems that it is either an intermittent problem
with OM4Ti and TTL flash at lower flash limits, or a problem with
lens/body conections (or something else!). It is now giving the same
results as an OM2N.
