The good thing about that is I'm in my 30's now and there is so much to
learn and look forward to in photography both in the sense of
contempary, past and future technology so I figure there is plenty to
keep me occupied for a fair while yet. Trouble with the past technology
is it is starting to become scarce, hence my rush to build a
comprehensive OM system, I have also enrolled myself on a darkroom
course, because even at the local camera club there seems to be more
members who are more interested in digital darkroom than their own
traditional darkroom.

Hmmm, there are about 25 students on the photography course I am
currently attending. The most common camera on this course is the
Pentax MZ-ZX-50 (around 5), followed by a mixture of Canons, there is
also one Oly Trip 35 user. This was a real suprise to me because the
Oly Trip 35 made it into the top 20 of that Buying Cameras poll won by
the OM1. I've read on this list that Pentax are mediocre in Europe.
My impression is that in Australia their SLR range is mounting a
successful comeback I think Pentax's committment to marketing is paying
off over here.

Dare I say great minds think alike? My bare bones outfit is an OM-1n
with a 35 f2 :+)

Ok, look out for it in a couple of days.
