Congratulations -- it's a very fine lens.

Actually, it was made by Tokina. Kiron is a private brand name of
Kino Precision -- a japanese manufacturer of high quality optics,
which, sadly, no longer makes 35mm gear.

Nothing compares to Zuiko, but don't take my word for it -- see
Richard's table.

Irrelevant -- this lens has been out of production for some
15 years. AFAIK, they sell used for around $200-225.
