I have an old OM System brochure which is undated, but shows the OM4T, but
not the black version. It has the Electronic Flash Extender in it. It
states, "Inserts in the camera hot shoe to raise the height of T20 flash
unit." It appears to be of black plastic construction and rectangular cross
section and appears, from the picture, to be as tall as the camera. The
system chart also shows it as part of the Flashphoto Group. The chart does
not show it as an option for other flash units, nor are there alternative
connections other than the hot shoe.
