I checked the rumours (originating from a local dealer here in
Holland) with Olympus Nederland. They said there is no signal of the
camera being discontinued.
But, they added, it is not at all a good sign that they have to wait
MONTHS for their ordered B-300 and B-MACRO adapters to be delivered
from Japan (through Olympus Europe in Hamburg). And that is exactly
what I visited my local dealer for in the first place. They had as
many as 2 (two!) B-28 adapters in stock...
I am careful in jumping to conclusions, but it doesn't sound
promising.
