Hi Per,

FWIW, I just received a brochure on the IS-3 from Olympus America last week.
When I called them to request the brochure, they didn't say anything about
it being discontinued. But perhaps they're just trying to sell off what's in
the warehouse.

Sorry to say Frank, but I simply refuse to believe that the IS-3 is out of
production as well (at least until I get some firm proof). This would mean
the death for the whole IS idea. Why is it that every time I buy a new
Olympus SLR/ZLR camera (OM-2SP, IS-3000) it is taken out of production
within a couple of years? I think I´ll have to find out what a new B-28 wide
adapter costs before it´s to late for that also. One thing I know though,
I´d rather quit photography all together than buy a bulky plastic AF SLR of
the kind that everyone else have...
