Yes, the Winder 2 also has the storage holder.

All kidding aside,since no one has mentioned it,there is a place to
store the MD cap from an OM1 or OM2 inside the battery compartment of
the Winder 1.Remove the batteries and look at the top inside near the
opening of the winder.There is a holder for the cap built in.The cap
slides into it.Sorry but I don't know about the Winder 2 or motor
drives.Perhaps someone will get lucky and find a cap stored there.Good
