I 'pulled' it to EI 50. This was how they did it in the old days too. I have
never tried this with any other film/developer combination (though I have
tested TMX 100 with both Microdol, Ilfotec HC, D-76 and Acufine).

The extra diluted TMD has no shelf life at all, you use it once and throw
it away, like Rodinal. The dilution still makes the practice reasonably
economical. The standard working solution (without the sulphite solution)
can of course be kept as usual in a bellows-type container. So can the 10 %
sodium sulphite stock solution.

So here's the dope (you may have to experiment a bit yourself). The
development gives perhaps less contrast than you may wish for if you
use a diffuse-light enlarger:

TMax Developer solution 1+4 diluted 1+1 with 10 odium sulphite.
One- or two-reel tank, agitation by inversion every minute.

Temperature: 20°C 21° 22°
23° 24°
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------
Minutes/sec. 7'15" 6'45" 6'20"
6'00" 5'50"

Good luck if you decide to try it!
