Nice work despite the tribulations.  Until you get the rangefinder 
adjusted that focus scale on the lens should work pretty well.  Also, 
the hyperfocal distance at f/8 is 22 feet for a 42mm lens.  But you'll 
likely need a tripod or some film faster than ISO 25 for that.
