Everyone has "focussed" on the 2nd example and that's fine. But if I can
comment on #1, it was about a battery compartment crack on
a T32.
That's what they do.
Amazing as it sounds, the battery box is not strong enough to stand up to the
springs. Over time, the T32 battery box splits
because the springs are able to force the batteries. (!)
Anyway, it is very likely that the seller was not aware of it. Since you
solicited opinions, mine is that it was an innocent
mistake.
