We spent 5 days in Croatia last week, a brief vacation. We stayed in Zagreb but
took several day trips in the rental car. However, we also explored the city,
mostly on foot, a very pleasant and interesting experience. I had been there
once before, in 2020, but that was a business trip with limited time to see the
place. I particularly enjoyed the daily open-air market right next to our
apartment on the main square of Zagreb, and the art on offer, not only in the
excellent Contemporary Art Museum (where many of the works are a reflection of
the Balkan wars in the 1990s) but also the many murals around the city. So very
much a target-rich environment, and the resulting gallery is quite large:

As always, comments and critique are welcome and appreciated.
I have previously posted a small gallery from the Plitvica national park, and
will soon post another gallery from the various day trips we took.
Cheers,
Nathan
