Today there was a half-marathon in the streets of Alicante (there was also a 10
km route for the less ambitious runners). I cycled to the closest point on the
route from my house, a roundabout about 6 km away. At this point, the runners
were about 5 km into their run, so halfway for the 10 km folks and a quarter of
the way for the half-marathon runners. I have posted the photos
chronologically. So in the beginning you see the serious runners. Later, you
see the slower people, many of whom are in it more for the fun than to set a
personal record. It was nice to see so many different people enjoying
themselves:
