For me, it was and always will be "zoo-coh"
Just as with Nikon (Nigh-con), most of these names are actually
linguistic neutral with no word-specific, language-specific intent.
They are meant to be said comfortably by whatever native language of
the user, not the country of origin.
Oh, and according to all television advertisements in the USA, it's "mahz-da".

I think that it was way back in 1997 when I posted the question to this list:
How do you pronounce Zuiko like a Japanese?
It was explained to me that the correct pronunciation should be zoo-week-o. I
did not believe it and in my head I always had it as tsoo-week-o, ts sounding
like the zz in pizza.
Moving on...We've had at least one Mazda in the family since 1994 and I was
shocked to find out about a month ago when my wife got herself a new shiny one
that it is pronounced Matsda, thats right, ts like the zz's in pizza. That led
me to revisit the subject and just wanted to let you know that you all were
right, it is pronounced zoo-week-o.
See, back in 1997, there wasn't Youtube where people thought how to pronounce
words like a native. Now, there is an abundance of it, this is a particularly
amusing one:
