I lurk, and take a look at any images posted, and enjoy the stories. I'm
a MFT (Lumix G9 body, Panasonic and Olympus lenses) user these days; the
OM kit is in storage but an archaeological dig is in order to refresh my
memory on holdings and whether I can be an enabler in any way.
For reasons I've mentioned, the last two years I've been away not just
from photography but from a lot of things, but 2025 is becoming the year
for emerging back into the world. Went on the camera club's spring
outing (to Presqu'ile Provincial Park nr. Belleville, for anyone who
might know southern Ontario - it's apparently quite a migration stopover
for warblers and some others) two weekends ago, was surrounded by Canon
R5s and the like, but am slowly re-learning what a camera does, now
sifting through images and might even have a warbler or two to post.
It's tantalising, nay frustrating, when the Merlin app tells you the
half-dozen species chirping away around you, and you can hardly see a
single bird for all the branches and spring foliage in the way.
