As far as I know, no one has ever seen a black M-1 (and I've been looking
for many years). I thought I had one from a big auction house in Germany,
but when it arrived, it was just a regular M-1 hand-painted black.
Fortunately, since it was a respected auction house, they took it back, no
questions asked.
